Apex Legends ALGS Year 4 Championships Head to Sapporo, Japan!

Get ready Apex Legends fans! The ALGS Year 4 Championships are coming to Sapporo, Japan, marking a significant milestone for the competitive scene. This will be the first-ever offline ALGS tournament held in Asia, a testament to the game's growing popularity in the region.

The event will be held at the Daiwa House PREMIST DOME from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, featuring 40 elite teams vying for the championship title. Previous ALGS tournaments have been hosted in the US, UK, Sweden, and Germany.

EA's announcement highlighted the strong Japanese community and the considerable demand for an offline event in the country. John Nelson, EA's senior director of Esports, expressed excitement about celebrating this milestone in Sapporo's iconic Daiwa House Premist Dome.

Sapporo Mayor Katsuhiro Akimoto also welcomed the event, expressing the city's full support for the tournament and extending a warm welcome to athletes, officials, and fans. Further details regarding tournament specifics and ticket information will be released at a later date.
