Geoff Keighley, host and producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL), has officially confirmed the unveiling of brand-new games alongside updates on highly anticipated titles and previously announced projects. The news was shared via his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Gamescom has already hinted at a stellar lineup including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Civilization VII, MARVEL Rivals, Dune: Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, the show promises even more surprises with the reveal of completely unannounced games. The Gamescom 2024 ONL will be live-streamed across official channels at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET on August 20th.

Confirmed highlights include the first gameplay showcase of Don't Nod's interactive adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a fresh trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Furthermore, THQ Nordic will present a new game from Tarsier Studios, the creators of the acclaimed Little Nightmares series.

Call of Duty fans can expect a significant reveal: the first-ever live campaign playthrough of Black Ops 6. While Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom 2024, The Pokémon Company's presence is confirmed as a major highlight of the event.
