Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.
Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.
Development is underway at four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, giving selected players early access to core gameplay features. Feedback from this beta test will be crucial in optimizing the game prior to its official launch.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
