Critical Role Campaign 3 Ends Next Week With an 8 Hour Finale

by Andrew Mar 06,2025

The hugely popular Dungeons & Dragons show, Critical Role, starring voice acting luminaries like Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham, is concluding its third campaign next week with a marathon eight-and-a-half-hour livestream.

Polygon reports the finale begins February 6th at 7 PM Pacific / 10 PM Eastern (3 AM February 7th UK time). It will be broadcast across Critical Role's YouTube and Twitch channels, and their membership platform, Beacon.

This episode brings the curtain down on the Bells Hells adventuring party's journey, which commenced in October 2021. While no direct sequels or spin-offs have been confirmed for this specific storyline, Critical Role assures fans that Exandria's narrative will continue. All Critical Role campaigns unfold within the world of Exandria.

"This Campaign 3 finale closes one epic chapter of Exandrian history," stated creative director and cast member Marisha Ray. "But while we celebrate this ending, the story continues. I'm thrilled to see what unfolds next, written by the incredible improvisational storytellers who will be carrying the torch."

The conclusion of Campaign 3 doesn't signal a break in Critical Role's programming. Another Exandria Unlimited mini-series, comprising four episodes, premieres a week later on February 14th. Numerous other shows and streams are planned to follow.

Regarding the highly anticipated Campaign 4, Critical Role remains tight-lipped on a start date. Historically, there have been several months between campaigns (e.g., Vox Machina concluded in October 2017, Mighty Nein began January 2018). Given this pattern, an announcement – or even the launch – around Critical Role's 10th anniversary on March 12th seems plausible.
