A recent developer update highlighted extensive PC optimization efforts, including extensive customization options, advanced display settings, and full Steam integration (cloud saves, Remote Play, and Steam Deck compatibility). The October 31st release date was also reconfirmed.

BioWare emphasized their commitment to PC, the series' birthplace. They invested approximately 200,000 hours in performance and compatibility testing on PCs—40% of their total platform testing. The game boasts native PS5 DualSense controller support with haptic feedback, alongside Xbox controller and keyboard/mouse support.
