FromSoftware's upcoming title will grant early access exclusively to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players. Registration opens January 10th, with testing slated for February. This excludes a substantial player base from early access.
Bandai Namco has yet to explain the omission of PC players from the testing phase. However, those selected will enjoy a sneak peek before the official launch.
Elden Ring: Nightreign continues the original game's narrative, offering new challenges within a dark and foreboding world. While console gamers get priority testing, PC users will need to await further announcements regarding potential future tests.
A notable change in Elden Ring: Nightreign is the removal of the in-game message feature. Director Junya Ishizaki clarified this decision, stating that the approximately forty-minute play sessions don't allow sufficient time for message interaction. He stated, "We removed the messaging feature due to the limited time available within the roughly forty-minute sessions."
