Niantic has just unveiled Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transforming the game into a winter wonderland that you can explore. Brace yourself for the chilly tundra as you embark on thrilling hunts, equipped with a slew of new features to keep your adventures exciting, even with virtual frostbite.
Monster Hunter Now Season 4 introduces a fresh snowy tundra habitat, where you’ll brave icy winds and trudge through knee-deep snow. This season, you'll encounter a variety of new monsters, including Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the formidable Tigrex, all making their debut. Additionally, Barioth, along with smaller creatures like Wulg and Cortos, will join the fray. Tigrex is set to challenge you in Hunt-a-thons and may even appear in the field if you're fortunate. To unlock these beasts, you'll need to complete urgent quests as you progress through the story chapters of Season 4. Once you've finished the prologue, the tundra awaits your exploration.
A new weapon, the Switch Axe, is introduced in Season 4, offering a versatile two-in-one experience. In Axe Mode, you can deliver long-reaching strikes, and by switching to Sword Mode, you can unleash a flurry of rapid attacks. To unlock the Switch Gauge, simply complete the pre-season story in Chapter 2.
Niantic enhances your gameplay with personalized Palico companions that assist in gathering materials and scouting for monsters. Customize their fur color, facial features, and give them amusing names. If you're into augmented reality, you can even take your custom Palico into the real world for some fun photo ops.
Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a heartwarming element to your hunts. By sending cheers to your friends, you can give them a temporary health boost for the day, though there's a cap on how much health can be gained from cheers.
Dive into the action by downloading Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and embark on your frosty adventure today.
