The *Animal Friends* mod by annanomoly on Nexus Mods is your key to automated animal care. This mod not only automatically pets your livestock but also feeds them, saving you valuable time. Important note: you'll need the *Mods of Mistria Installer* to use this mod—it's a necessary supporting program.

Here's how to install the *Animal Friends* mod:

1. Create a new folder named "Mods" within your *Fields of Mistria* game files.
2. Download the AnimalFriends.zip file and place it in the "Mods" folder.
3. Extract the contents of the zip file. You can then delete or move the original zip file.
4. Run the *Mods of Mistria Installer* to install the mod.

The *Animal Friends* mod offers customizable features beyond auto-petting and auto-feeding. You can also enable a friendship multiplier, boosting your animals' affection levels, and a feature to prevent friendship loss. The multiplier increases the number of hearts your animals gain, while the prevention feature ensures those hearts don't decrease.

To adjust settings, locate the AnimalFriends.json file within the extracted mod folder. This simple text file lets you control the mod's features. Change "false" to "true" to activate a feature, and vice versa to disable it.

The friendship multiplier requires a numerical input between 1 and 100. Setting it to 100 bypasses the need for bonding, while 1 disables the feature.

Upon initial installation, auto-petting and auto-feeding are inactive by default. However, the mod automatically activates the friendship loss prevention and multiplies heart gains from petting by five.

To remove the mod, avoid simply deleting the folder. Instead, use the *Mods of Mistria Installer* to uninstall it properly. This prevents potential save file corruption.

Before installing any mod, always back up your save file. While generally stable, a backup provides an extra layer of security.
