Final Fantasy 14 Offers Returning Players Tons of Free Playtime

Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!

Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, offering eligible players four consecutive days of free gameplay across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

The campaign commenced on January 9th, 2025, and the four-day timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility is determined by account inactivity (at least 30 days prior to the campaign start) and a clean service record; accounts suspended for violating terms of service are ineligible. Players can verify their eligibility through the Mog Station.

This generous offer coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, featuring new side quests within the Dawntrail expansion, including the continuation of the Hildibrand storyline and a new Custom Delivery client. Further updates are planned for 2025, with Patch 7.2 and 7.3 confirmed by Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida in his New Year's message. He also hinted at future directions for the Dawntrail main storyline, leaving players eagerly anticipating future developments.

The campaign also overlaps with the Heavensturn event (ending January 16th), offering participants a unique minion reward, and the upcoming Patch 7.16 (January 21st), concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series. This provides returning players a perfect opportunity to catch up on the latest content before the release of Patch 7.2.
