NetEase Games unveiled their charming life sim, Floatopia, at Gamescom, with a planned multi-platform release, including Android, slated for sometime in 2025. This whimsical game features a world of floating islands and eccentric characters. The trailer depicts a picturesque setting where players can cultivate crops, engage in cloud fishing, and personalize their airborne island home.

A Cute Apocalypse

The game opens with a world-ending announcement, but fear not! This apocalypse is more akin to "My Time at Portia" than "Fallout." The setting is a sky-bound world of fragmented lands and individuals possessing unique superpowers, though not all powers are created equal.

Players assume the role of Island Manager, undertaking tasks familiar to fans of "Animal Crossing" and "Stardew Valley." Cultivate crops, fish amidst the clouds, and meticulously decorate your island home. The ability to travel to diverse locations and meet new characters adds an adventurous element.
