Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered, accessing the Cell Garden becomes crucial for the main storyline and later, for efficient resource gathering. This safe haven offers a more controlled environment than standard operations. While multiple Cell Gardens exist, accessing them follows a consistent pattern regardless of level. This guide details their location and resource farming mechanics.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. Begin in Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). Locate a small, elevator-like room in the left corner. This isn't an elevator; interacting with it transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).

From 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process; the final room in 2-G100 houses the device that unlocks the Cell Garden.

This route remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-main quest, access to any Cell Garden becomes unrestricted, though obtaining the Quick-Travel Entitlement is highly recommended.

Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The initial Cell Garden mission differs from subsequent visits. Here's the standard procedure for accessing a Cell Garden after the main quest:

  • A one-minute time limit is imposed.
  • The room's layout randomizes with each entry.
  • Eight resource orbs (small green spheres) are scattered throughout the room.

Entitlements purchased from the Window on Liberty extend your Cell Garden time. Some layouts present puzzles, potentially increasing the difficulty. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute time limit, unlocks at CODE level 3.
