Genshin, GTA Hybrid Approved for China Release

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is gearing up for launch. This highly anticipated game, a blend of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even elements reminiscent of GTA, is already generating significant buzz. Its anime-style aesthetic further enhances its appeal.

Early promotional materials have captivated audiences, showcasing a unique combination of familiar game mechanics within a captivating anime setting.

Approved for release in China, Ananta is slated for a 2025 launch across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A recent trailer unveiled on December 5th introduced Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova, a location ripe with mystery and adventure.

The ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from its familiar yet supernatural environments and gameplay.

Key features highlighted include four-player team-based combat, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
