Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its unique approach to co-op gameplay. Their signature "Friends Pass" system, requiring only one purchase for two-player enjoyment, remains a distinctive feature, establishing a niche for the studio. While past titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly perfect for their collaborative model, this limitation is now a thing of the past.
Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully embrace cross-play functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The popular Friends Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game, although both players will require an EA account.
To further enhance accessibility, Hazelight has also announced a playable demo. Players can experience Split Fiction together, with the added benefit of carrying their progress over to the full game upon release.
Split Fiction promises diverse environments and a compelling narrative centered around the complexities of human relationships. Launching March 6th, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
