Pokemon Go’s first Community Day of 2025 will feature Sprigaito

Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! The event kicks off on January 5th, featuring the Grass-type starter, Sprigatito.

From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your chance to catch plenty of these adorable Pokémon!

Evolving Sprigatito into Floragato, and then into Meowscarada, during the event (or within five hours afterward) will unlock the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn Flower Trick, significantly boosting its battle potential.

This Community Day event is packed with bonuses:

• Triple Stardust and Double Candy: Catch more Pokémon to maximize your rewards.
• Double Candy XL Chance (Level 31+): Trainers at level 31 or higher will have a doubled chance to earn Candy XL.
• Extended Lure Modules and Incense: These will last for three hours.
• Discounted Trades: Enjoy half-price Stardust for trades, plus one extra Special Trade.

For an added challenge, a paid Special Research story will be available for $2, offering exclusive rewards including a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Sprigatito encounters.
