Unova Tour Unlocks Black and White Kyurem in Pokémon Go

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event brings Black and White Kyurem, and Shiny Meloetta to Pokémon GO!

Black and White Kyurem Debut

Following the December 2024 announcement, Niantic revealed the arrival of Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, and Shiny Meloetta for the February 2025 Unova Tour. From February 21st to 23rd, 2025, in-person event attendees in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, USA, can capture and fuse Kyurem into its alternate forms. Base Kyurem is obtained by defeating Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids.

Fusion requires:

• Black Kyurem: 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy.
• White Kyurem: 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy.

Fusion Energy is earned by raiding Black or White Kyurem. Reversion to the base form is free. Increased shiny rates for Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom are also in effect.

A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, runs March 1st-2nd, 2025, offering free access to these Pokémon for all players.

Shiny Meloetta Arrives!

Shiny Meloetta makes its Pokémon GO debut! In-person event ticket holders can complete a Masterwork Research to encounter this Pokémon. The research doesn't expire after the three-day event.

Iconic Unova Legendaries

Kyurem, Reshiram, Zekrom, and Meloetta originated in Pokémon Black and White, the fifth generation. Black and White 2 introduced Kyurem's alternate forms, capable of learning Ice Burn and Freeze Shock, mirroring their Pokémon GO counterparts. This event provides a complete Unova experience!
