World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. Get ready for a nostalgic journey through WoW's history, with chances to earn exciting new rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a significant experience boost.

This expanded event builds upon the popular five-week run from September 2023. Players can once again earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, granting a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons. However, the stakes are higher this time around.

The Grand Prize: Achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks, and you'll unlock the prestigious Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, rewarding you with the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

Event Schedule:

The Timewalking campaigns will cycle through WoW's expansions in this order:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

More Than Just Nostalgia:

Each expansion's Timewalking vendor boasts permanent additions to their inventory, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. But that's not all! For those who missed out last time, the Sandy Shalewing pet is making a return. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest during Turbulent Timeways yields Heroic-quality gear from the Cache of Nerubian Treasures.

A Busy Start to 2025:

With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and the current Turbulent Timeways, players will have enjoyed 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking by the event's conclusion. The February 24th end date for Turbulent Timeways also hints at future plans. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the launch of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Undermined. This exciting period also includes the second run of Plunderstorm (January 14th - February 17th) and the upcoming major content update for The War Within. World of Warcraft is certainly kicking off 2025 with a bang!
