Guide: Finish Hush, My Darling Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Embark on the side quest "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, not in Kuttenberg City, but in the quaint village of Miskowitz, located to the west in the Kuttenberg Region. This quest will put your blacksmithing skills to the test as you help Martha, a local in need.

Speak with Martha

To start, head to Miskowitz and locate the house connected to the forge in the southeast part of the village. Inside, you'll find Martha. Engage her in conversation and ask if she needs assistance. When she mentions needing someone skilled in blacksmithing, confidently reply, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to initiate the "Hush, My Darling" quest.

While you're there, consider speaking with the bailiff about Matthew from the Dry Devil's group, as he stands conveniently next to Martha, providing an additional marker for her location if needed.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already have the necessary materials for this quest. You'll need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you might have crafted earlier to level up your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to create them. Once the horseshoes are ready, return to Martha.

Find Victoria

Martha will direct you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, whose house is situated slightly south of the forge. Upon arriving, you'll discover that Victoria is not home; instead, you'll find blood when you open the first door on the left. Investigate the blood by approaching it and following the prompt during "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Report back to Martha about your findings, and she will suggest searching for Victoria at Sigismund’s camp.

Sigismund’s Camp

Located to the south of Opatowitz, Sigismund’s camp is your next destination. If you're also pursuing Matthew for the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him on the way. Once at the camp, find the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention a soldier named Black who took an interest in her. Head to the infirmary tent to find Black, who is currently ill.

Black requires a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to give it to him. Wait a couple of hours for the medicine to take effect before he's ready to talk. Black will then reveal that he said something to Victoria, suggesting she might have gone into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker to find Victoria sitting on a stump.

Approach Victoria and discuss the situation. The conversation choices don't impact future events, but if you made Black promise to look after Victoria, you can pass this message on to her, providing some comfort and hope for her future.

Completing this conversation marks the end of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You can now proceed with the main quests or explore additional side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
