NetEase has unveiled its upcoming Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops campaign, offering players a chance to claim a free Adam Warlock skin from Season 1.5. Announced on Twitter (X) on March 12, Season 1.5 Twitch Drops will feature exclusive rewards, including the Adam Warlock Will of Galacta Spray, Nameplate, and Costume.
The campaign kicks off on March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT and runs until April 3 at 7:00 PM PDT. To secure these rewards, players need to watch Marvel Rivals streams on Twitch with Drops enabled. Remember, you must link your Marvel Rivals account to your Twitch account to receive the rewards.
Here are the watch time requirements for each reward:
NetEase also shared on Twitter on March 1 that new skins for Loki and Storm will be available starting March 13 at 7:00 PM PDT / March 14 at 2:00 AM UTC. These Asgardian-themed skins include the Presidential Attire for Loki and the Goddess of Thunder for Storm.
Storm's skin showcases her in Asgardian armor, wielding a hammer reminiscent of Mjolnir, dubbed Stormcaster. This design references a comic storyline where Storm, having lost her powers, receives the hammer from Loki to control the elements, only to find it part of Loki's sinister scheme. This marks Storm's first new skin since the game's launch.
Loki's Presidential Attire, first seen during the Marvel Rivals beta test, was one of the initial skins players could access for free. Fans eagerly await its release and hope for other beta test skins, like the Spider-Punk costume for Spider-Man and the Steampunk-themed costume for Iron Man, to become available soon.
Marvel Rivals has released the patch notes for the upcoming update on their website on March 12, 2025. The update will go live on March 13 at 2:00 AM PDT without server downtime, allowing players to jump back into the game immediately after the patch.
This update addresses issues with voice chat overlay, frame rate affecting sensitivity, and failed message sending. It also fixes characters clipping into unintended areas and includes multiple adjustments to various hero skills and abilities.
Additionally, Marvel Rivals has detailed hero balance adjustments for the upcoming patch. Human Torch will see an increase in primary attack damage and Ultimate Ability effectiveness, Iron Man will have his mid-range offensive capabilities balanced, and Cloak and Dagger will receive enhancements to their healing capabilities.
NetEase continues to enhance Marvel Rivals with regular updates and new in-game content, particularly cosmetics. Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest news on Marvel Rivals by checking out our article below!
