Starting today, Dell is offering an incredible deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU for just $2,399.99, including shipping. This price point is exceptionally competitive, especially considering the upward trend in pricing for RTX 50 series prebuilt systems since their launch in January. At Dell, the next cheapest option with an RTX 5080 GPU is over $4,000, making this deal a standout. For those considering a DIY build, finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU is nearly impossible, and the cost could easily match that of this entire system.

This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, paired with a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, part of the Meteor Lake series, features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache. It's cooled efficiently by a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is supported by a robust 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The RTX 5080 is one of the new Blackwell graphics cards that have been released and are currently in high demand. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not be the best upgrade – it doesn’t offer a significant performance lead over the RTX 4080, though the enhanced frames from DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation do improve visuals in supported games. However, for gamers with older graphics cards looking for a substantial performance boost, the RTX 5080 is a game-changer, especially if you're keen on Nvidia’s AI enhancements."
The initial release of Nvidia GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards saw preorders sell out within the first hour. The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 were the first to hit the market, followed by the RTX 5070 Ti in February. Similarly, prebuilt gaming PCs featuring these new GPUs are either sold out, have increased in price, or are facing extended delivery delays.
