In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, food poisoning is a serious threat. This guide explains how to cure it and prevent future occurrences.
Curing Food Poisoning
The only cure for food poisoning is a digestive potion. These can be purchased from most apothecaries, including those in Troskowitz, Trosky Castle, and the Nomads’ Camp. They're relatively inexpensive.
Alternatively, you can craft your own digestive potions. This is a more cost-effective long-term solution. The recipe requires two thistles, two nettles, water, and one charcoal. The process involves boiling the thistles in water, adding the ground nettles, then the ground charcoal, before finally pouring the potion. Note: Bozhena's hut offers a peaceful alchemy station; using others may anger shopkeepers.
Preventing Food Poisoning
To avoid food poisoning, only consume fresh food. Check the Freshness meter in your inventory; red indicates a risk of poisoning, while white is safe. Consider using perks to slow food spoilage or preserving food through cooking or drying.
