Italian actor Luca Marinelli portrays this character, Neil, a soldier-like figure seen donning a bandana—a clear nod to Snake—and leading a squad of unsettling soldiers wielding assault rifles.

The Metal Gear echoes continue with the introduction of the Magellan Man, a colossal tar-like creature fused with the DHV Magellan, reminiscent of Metal Gear Rex. (A 15" Magellan Man statue is included in the Collector's Edition.) This behemoth appears to function as a Pacific Rim-style mech, battling enormous and disturbing tar monsters.

The Magellan Man evokes strong memories of Metal Gear Rex.

The standard edition of Death Stranding 2 is priced at $69.99. The Collector's Edition will cost $229.99, and the Digital Deluxe Edition is $79.99. Pre-orders commence on March 17.
