Nearly a year after its release, Forspoken continues to spark heated debates among gamers, even as it becomes available for free through PS Plus. Those who have tried Forspoken for free are debating its value just as passionately as those who paid full price.

When the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup was unveiled for December 2024, PlayStation LifeStyle observed a surprisingly enthusiastic response from the gaming community. Many players expressed excitement about diving into Forspoken and Sonic Frontiers.

However, opinions on Forspoken are sharply divided. Some players abandoned the game after just a few hours, criticizing the 'ridiculous dialogue' and weak storyline.
