Fortnite Hunters has launched Chapter 6 with an explosive start, introducing a sprawling map for players to explore, the introduction of formidable Oni Masks and Typhoon Blades, and exciting boss battles. As the season unfolds, new content continues to roll out, enriching the game with unique items and additional features.

With Winterfest now behind us, Fortnite Hunters has rolled out its first major update, reintroducing some beloved items from Chapter 4. While the Kinetic Blade may catch the eye of some, the Lock On Pistol is generating buzz among players eager to improve their aim.

How To Get The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol, classified as a Rare weapon, can be found as floor loot or inside chests scattered across the map. Although it's a Rare item, players might need to open several chests to increase their chances of finding it.

Alternatively, players can try their luck at Fishing Spots using a Fishing Rod. These spots are known to yield a higher chance of Rare weapons, making them a promising method to snag the Lock On Pistol.

How To Use The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol operates much like other semi-automatic pistols in Fortnite, delivering 25 damage per shot. Its unique selling point is the Lock-On feature. When aiming down sights, a circle appears around the reticle. Any target within this circle will be hit by every bullet fired, as long as they remain in view and aren't obscured by cover.

This feature is effective against players gliding in the air or hiding in bushes. However, the Lock-On capability is limited to a 50-meter range, so players need to stay close to their targets. For those who prefer a more aggressive approach, the pistol can be fired from the hip, though this method won't utilize the Lock-On feature.
