Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest nears its conclusion, unveiling lore speculated since the game's inception and evolving combat mechanics. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire presents a significant challenge. This formidable dual-sword wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance amplified by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it inflicts a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While challenging, victory is attainable. This guide details how to defeat the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.
The Lord of Eroded Primal Fire resides in the Stone Stele Records domain, south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. Located within a shrine commemorating Natlan's fallen, players can claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.
Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter, "When All Becomes A Monument," unlocks this boss. Alternatively, the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer's Handbook provides access.
Success heavily relies on Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani. While mostly stationary, the boss summons three pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora. Nightsoul Blessing users gain a significant advantage.
While other characters can destroy the pillars, Natlan characters significantly reduce the time required, preventing the devastating Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the dragon for approximately 10 seconds, a crucial window for damage. Even with speed, the pillars might not break quickly enough. When the meteor animation begins, equip a shield and switch to a healer. The Corrosion status penetrates shields, necessitating constant healing to survive; unshielded characters risk one-shot kills. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are ideal; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett offer viable alternatives.
Dodging is challenging due to unpredictable attacks and the dragon's transformation into smoke. Frantic attacks include sword slashes and smashes reducing the battlefield. Staying close and attacking from underneath is an option, but requires consistent healing against the Eroded Dragon Breath attack (Pyro and Erosion DMG). Staying near its hands avoids the breath's full range. Immediate self-healing after sword slashes is crucial to mitigate the Corrosion effect. A strong healer is indispensable.
Co-op mode offers assistance, particularly with Nightsoul Blessing characters during the pillar phase. Use the "Match" button within the domain for easier collaboration. This boss fight, unlike previous weekly bosses, lacks multiple phases but demands significant time and strategy.
