Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst

Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller-scale Inazuma adventure. The flagship event, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently, will take place in Inazuma.

Mizuki's addition to the game has been anticipated since late 2024, with numerous leaks suggesting her role as Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. Version 5.4 beta testing confirmed this, revealing her abilities and intended gameplay. As a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, she functions similarly to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. While Sucrose might excel in specific situations, Mizuki's versatility makes her a valuable asset in many Taser teams.

Initially leaked as a tapir yokai, subsequent marketing revealed Mizuki's profession as a psychologist and her ownership of the Aisa Bathhouse. Her friendship with Yae Miko suggests a significant role in the Version 5.4 flagship event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also planned for this update.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. It's crucial to note that Mizuki will transition to the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize obtaining her signature weapon.

In contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem rewards will be lower than average. Players should consider saving their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to acquire highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley, unless a Version 5.3 Chronicled Banner character strongly appeals to them.
