Ink Machine Franchise Unveils "Bendy: Lone Wolf" for Mobile

Bendy and the Ink Machine is back on mobile with a new game: Bendy: Lone Wolf! This top-down survival horror title, arriving on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025, builds upon the formula established by Boris and the Dark Survival.

Remember the quirky horror of the original Bendy and the Ink Machine? Its episodic structure, unique rubber hose-style enemies and environments, and captivating story captivated players in the mid-2010s. Now, the franchise returns to mobile with a new adventure!

The reveal trailer (linked below) showcases isometric gameplay, putting you in the shoes (paws?) of Boris the Wolf as he navigates the perilous Joey Drew Studios.

The original Bendy and the Ink Machine, along with spin-offs Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival, are already available on mobile. Lone Wolf appears to borrow heavily from Dark Survival, though its exact relationship to that title remains unclear – is it a definitive edition or a completely new experience?

A New Inkling

Regardless, the Bendy franchise maintains significant popularity, considered a pioneer of mascot horror games alongside Five Nights at Freddy's. Lone Wolf's success will depend on its execution; while not the first isometric Bendy survival horror starring Boris, its multi-platform release (including Steam and Switch) suggests lessons learned from previous mobile entries will result in a more refined, and potentially terrifying, experience.
