Killing Floor 3 Delayed to Later in 2025

In a Bluesky post on March 7th, 2025, Tripwire acknowledged the shortcomings of the beta, stating they "missed the mark." The post highlighted key areas needing improvement, including performance and stability, user interface/user experience (UI/UX), lighting, and weapon feel. The developer emphasized their commitment to delivering a game that both expands the franchise and stays true to the core Killing Floor experience.

Online reaction to the beta was scathing. Players described the game as "insanely clunky and clumsy," an "unpolished, glitch-ridden, vomit-inducing wreck," and criticized the shift away from the series' horror roots towards a more futuristic sci-fi aesthetic. Concerns were also raised about the character/class locking system in the beta. One Reddit user, Captain_Pugman, poignantly questioned whether the developers had forgotten what made Killing Floor special.

Tripwire concluded their announcement by promising a more polished version and assuring fans they would be updated as soon as more details are available.
