"Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Canceled Amid Legal and Content Issues"

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has recently found itself at the center of controversy after activists, including notable figures like Grummz, targeted the game. The uproar began following the discovery of subpoenas related to the game and the subsequent news of its ban in Saudi Arabia. This sparked widespread rumors about the inclusion of specific content and "progressive" ideas within the game, which quickly spread across the internet.

As a result, Warhorse Studios, the developers behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, faced significant backlash on social media. There were concerted efforts to cancel the project and dissuade potential supporters from backing what critics labeled as "such" developers.

In response to the swirling rumors, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the PR manager at Warhorse Studios, addressed the situation. He urged fans and the public to trust the developers and not to believe everything they read online, emphasizing the importance of official communications over unverified internet gossip.

Stolz-Zwilling also provided an update on the game's progress. He announced that review codes for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 would be distributed "in the coming days" after the game achieved gold status in early December. These codes are set to be released four weeks before the game's launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to form their initial impressions and prepare their reviews.

Interestingly, Stolz-Zwilling noted that the first "final previews" based on segments of the game from the review version would be available just a week after the review codes are distributed. This move is aimed at building anticipation and providing early insights into the game's final form.
