TouchArcade Rating: Niantic and Capcom have unveiled the next major content drop for Monster Hunter Now (Free). Season 3, titled "Curse of the Wandering Flames," introduces Magnamalo, the first original monster from Monster Hunter Rise to join the mobile title's huntable roster. Accompanying Magnamalo are two additional formidable foes: the electrifying Rajang (a personal favorite!), and the aerial Aknosom. This substantial update also introduces a new weapon, the Heavy Bowgun, and adds the much-anticipated cooking mechanic. I'm particularly eager to experience Magnamalo and Rajang in Monster Hunter Now, having enjoyed many hunts with them in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Behold Magnamalo's striking in-game artwork:
Here's a sneak peek at some of the new gear included in the Season 3 update:
For newcomers or returning players, I've compiled a comprehensive guide featuring tips, tricks, weapon details, special skill breakdowns, a current monster list, and my personal wishlist for future monster additions. Download Monster Hunter Now on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. In-app purchases offer various gem packs and upgrades. Visit the official website for more information. What are your thoughts on the game's current state, and are you anticipating the arrival of Teostra next month?
