Get Ready for Monster Hunter Wilds' Second Open Beta!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? A second chance arrives in early February, bringing new content and features! This second beta test offers a fresh opportunity to experience the game before its official launch on February 28th, 2025.
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the return of the Open Beta Test, providing players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S another chance to engage with the world of Monster Hunter Wilds.
The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th. This time, players can hunt the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series, adding a new challenge.
Character data from the first beta can be carried over and transferred to the full game, though progress won't be saved. Participating players will receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack to aid early gameplay.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating that many players missed the first or wanted a second chance. While recent community updates detailed improvements, these won't be included in the second beta, as they are still under development.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Prepare for the hunt!
