Console Performance Goals Unveiled

A December 19th livestream featured Monster Hunter Wilds director Yuya Tokuda and other staff, reviewing improvements and adjustments based on the Open Beta Test (OBT). They announced performance targets for consoles:
  • PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X: Two modes – "Prioritize Graphics" (4K, 30fps) and "Prioritize Framerate" (1080p, 60fps). A rendering bug in the framerate mode has been fixed.
  • Xbox Series S: Native 1080p at 30fps.

Monster Hunter Wilds Minimum Required Specs Will Be LoweredPS5 Pro support, offering enhanced visuals, is confirmed for launch. Specific details remain scarce.
