How to Trade in Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2 offers two primary trading methods: direct in-game trades and the official trade website. Both are explained below.

In-Game Trading

If you share a game instance with another player, right-click their character and select "Trade." Both players then choose their trade items. Once both agree, confirm the exchange.

Alternatively, use the global chat or direct messages. Right-click a player's name in chat and invite them to your party. Teleport to their location and right-click their character to initiate the trade.

Path of Exile 2 Trade Site

Path of Exile 2 features an online auction-style market accessible via the official trade website (link provided in original article). A PoE account linked to your game platform is required.

To buy, use the website's filters to locate desired items. Click "Direct Whisper" to send an in-game message to the seller, arrange a meeting, and complete the transaction.

Selling requires a Premium Stash Tab (purchased from the in-game Microtransaction Shop). Place the item in the Premium Stash, set it to "Public," and optionally set a price via right-click. The item will automatically appear on the trade site. Once a buyer contacts you in-game, arrange the trade.

This covers the Path of Exile 2 trade market. For additional game tips and troubleshooting (like PC freezing), consult The Escapist.
