Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide

Playing games with friends can elevate the experience to new heights. In R.E.P.O., the challenge of facing tough monsters means that even the strongest squad might need to revive a fallen teammate. Here's a detailed guide on how to bring your squad members back into the action in R.E.P.O..

What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.

When you start a round in R.E.P.O., your health is at 100. You can lose health from monster attacks or even from your own items like Human Grenades. To recover, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by interacting with each other's health bars—a unique feature that fosters teamwork.

Despite these health management options, the relentless monsters in R.E.P.O. can sometimes overpower your squad. When a teammate falls, their head drops to the ground. You can pick it up by locating it either by remembering where they fell or by checking the map, which marks the head's location with a small icon matching their character color. Retrieving the head is just the first step.

Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.

Once you have the head in your inventory, make your way to the extraction point. Place the head there, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (visible at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to gain additional health, ensuring they're not a liability to the squad. It's back to business as usual from there.

However, if retrieving the head isn't feasible, there's another way to revive your teammates: start a new round. Similar to Call of Duty Zombies, this round-based approach allows dead players to return at the beginning of a new round. While this method means you'll be at a disadvantage for the remainder of the current round, it can be beneficial, especially for newer players who can learn from watching more experienced teammates.
