TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon: Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free). Launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, this new title combines the original's turn-based combat with roguelite elements for endless replayability. The Steam page highlights key features, including 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, and over 130 monsters. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, and whether its release coincides with the Switch and Steam versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing, particularly its potential as a perfect pick-up-and-play title, judging from the Steam screenshots. Until its release, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
