Sid Meier’s Civilization VII is the latest installment in a strategy game series that dates back to 1991. Developed by Firaxis, it allows you to choose a historical leader to guide your civilization to global dominance. You can construct your city, fill it with architectural marvels, and expand your empire through conquest or cooperation with neighboring civilizations.
You have significant freedom in how you guide your civilization's progress. You can follow historical paths or create your own unique narrative. The standout new feature in Civ 7 is the ability to switch civilizations during each of the three Ages: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern. The only constant throughout your gameplay is the leader you've chosen.
