Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Receives Rating in Singapore

by Jacob Mar 28,2025

The rumor mill for the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series is heating up, with Singapore's rating board recently rating "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a 2025 release. This exciting news suggests that the next installment in the beloved skateboarding franchise could be just around the corner, featuring remakes of the third and fourth mainline games.

The ratings board has listed an impressive array of platforms for the anticipated THPS collection, including Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. This broad platform support indicates that Activision is aiming to reach a wide audience with the remakes.

While no official confirmation has been made yet, a countdown timer spotted in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is teasing some Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, set to be revealed on March 4, 2025. This has further fueled speculation and excitement among fans.

Adding to the buzz, Tony Hawk himself shared in an interview with Mythical Kitchen that he's been in discussions with Activision about a new project. Hawk hinted that "it will be something the fans will truly appreciate," raising hopes for a faithful and exciting remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4.

The success of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake in 2020 set a high bar, making a follow-up with 3 and 4 seem like a natural next step. However, the absorption of the original remake's developer, Vicarious Visions, into Blizzard in 2021 threw a wrench into those plans. Tony Hawk revealed in a 2022 Twitch livestream that Activision had been seeking other developers to take on the project but hadn't found a suitable match, as they didn't trust any studio the way they did Vicarious Visions.

With the Singaporean ratings board listing Activision as both the publisher and developer, the big question remains: who is actually developing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4? Fans won't have to wait long for answers, as the countdown timer in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 points to a reveal on March 4, next week. Skateboarding enthusiasts and gamers alike are eagerly anticipating what could be a thrilling addition to the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater legacy.
