A clever Disney Dreamlight Valley player uncovered a hidden reward tied to Hades' Friendship Quest. While many in-game codes are time-limited, this one might be permanently active.
The recent Sew Delightful update brought Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas to the Valley, but players are still exploring the riches of the November 2024 Storybook Vale patch, which introduced beloved characters like Hades and Merida. Completing Hades' Friendship Quests unlocks unique items, and it turns out, a secret code!
Reddit user Malificent7276 discovered that the code "HADES15," mentioned by Hades during his "Your Own Personal Hades" quest (specifically, his endorsement speech to Scrooge McDuck), actually works. Entering this code yields three carrots and a special letter. While a small reward, the unexpected Easter egg delighted many players. Carrots are valuable cooking ingredients, so these freebies are a welcome addition.
Redeeming Hades' Hidden Code:
Disney Dreamlight Valley frequently releases redemption codes for items and cosmetics, often tied to updates. While most expire, some, such as the Pride promo codes, remain permanently active. Given the permanent availability of Hades' quest, the "HADES15" code is likely also permanently accessible (though redeemable only once per account).
Exciting news for the future includes the anticipated arrival of Aladdin and Jasmine, possibly in late February 2025, and the second half of the Storybook Vale expansion in the summer. The developers are also addressing issues with pre-order bonus distribution from the Storybook Vale patch.
