The Nintendo Switch is riding off into the sunset with a bang, a final flurry of exciting games launching before its successor, the officially announced Switch 2, takes the reins. Whether developed exclusively for the Switch or ported from other platforms, these upcoming titles will cap off the Switch's final year, and all will be playable on the Switch 2 upon release.

2025 will see the arrival of several games announced during last year's Nintendo Directs and The Game Awards 2024. Whether you're a loyal original Switch owner or eagerly anticipating the Switch 2, here's a look at the new Switch games coming in 2025 and beyond.

When Is the Nintendo Switch 2 Coming Out?

PlayFollowing months of rumors, Nintendo officially announced the Switch 2 on January 16th. While the announcement trailer showcased new features (including Joy-Con mouse functionality), specifics on specs, game launches, pricing, and release date remain to be revealed in an upcoming Nintendo Direct scheduled for April 2nd.
