Following a press tour that hilariously showcased Jack Quaid sporting increasingly impressive fake injuries at a Clippers game, Novocaine has finally hit theaters. This R-rated action-comedy stars Quaid as a man who feels no pain—leading to the amusing theory that the Boys veteran actively seeks out opportunities to be covered in stage blood.
IGN critic Lena Wilson praises the film in her review, stating, “Novocaine offers more depth than its gimmicky 'man who feels no pain' premise may lead you to believe," adding that it features "clever storytelling and character writing that reminds us of a time when seeing movies in theaters was just plain fun.”

Novocaine will eventually stream on Paramount+, not Netflix or Hulu. Recent Paramount releases like Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Gladiator 2 arrived on the streaming service approximately three months after their theatrical debut. Following a similar pattern, we can expect Novocaine to stream on Paramount+ around late June.
