Quest Walkthrough

This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, interacting with the damaged Lumiscale Construct. The objectives are:

1. Activate three Discipline Steles at designated locations.
2. Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
3. Pursue and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
4. Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (final encounter).
5. Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.

Activating the Steles

Standing on the glowing circle at each altar slowly charges the Discipline Steles. Enemies interrupting this process will hinder progress; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause energy depletion. Utilize the enhanced elemental damage and status effects introduced in the 2.0 update to your advantage. For the third stele set, strategically position yourself to activate them before enemy spawns.

Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct

Use your strongest Resonators to defeat the Lumiscale Construct upon returning to the starting area. A cutscene will trigger after significantly reducing its health, prompting you to follow it deeper into the ruins. The environment becomes increasingly hazardous; navigate falling debris and lightning while eliminating enemies. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits.

Confronting the Dragon of Dirge

The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable foe; its attacks can easily stunlock or one-shot characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, aiming for stuns whenever possible. Prioritize dodging powerful attacks and capitalizing on stun opportunities.

Upon defeating the dragon, the quest concludes. Access to the remaining areas of Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis, is now unlocked.
