Four-Player Card Game

This game, a variation of Court Piece, involves a Trump caller who conceals the Trump and sets a target for the challenge. Popular in India, Pakistan, and Iran, it goes by various names:

  • Court Piece (sometimes spelled Coat Piece or Coat Pees)
  • Rang (meaning "Trump" in Pakistan)
  • Hokm (meaning "command" or "order" in Iran)
  • Troefcall (in Suriname and the Netherlands)

In Hindi or Punjabi, "Sar" refers to a trick, a set of cards played by each player in turn.
