Finnish game developer Kuuasema has unveiled an exciting new project titled *Cthulu Keeper*, a comedic strategy game that draws inspiration from the iconic works of H.P. Lovecraft and echoes the spirit of Bullfrog's 1997 classic, *Dungeon Keeper*. Currently in development for PC, *Cthulu Keeper* promises to immerse players in a thrilling experience set in the 1920s.
In *Cthulu Keeper*, players will embark on a journey to "build your very own cult and generate fear and chaos around you," as stated by the developers. The game challenges you to construct a lair, delve into dark research, and summon a variety of Lovecraftian-inspired monsters. To expand your influence, you'll recruit cultists, engage in street canvassing, and complete various objectives. However, be prepared to face challenges from rival cults and the authorities, which you'll need to fend off using cunning traps and powerful spells.

Kuuasema's chief gaming officer, Kimmo Kari, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, "We’ve poured our hearts and dark souls into creating a unique and challenging experience that blends classic dungeon-keeping with the unsettling atmosphere of Lovecraft’s stories." If *Cthulu Keeper* piques your interest, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam to stay updated on its development progress.
