How to Get Deer Skin in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, acquiring deer skin is crucial for crafting. While you can buy or even steal it, crafting offers a convenient alternative. Here's how to obtain deer skin.

Where to Get Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As the name implies, deer skin is acquired by skinning deer. This requires unlocking a relevant survival perk. Once unlocked, hunting deer in the game's forests—a relatively common creature—becomes your primary method of obtaining deer skin.

Where to Buy Deer Skin

If hunting isn't your preferred method, several NPCs sell deer skin:

  • Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
  • Saddlers at Trosky Castle
  • Tanners at Vidlak Pond
  • Gamekeepers at Zhelejov

Many traders in settlements also stock deer skin, often replenishing their supplies weekly. While Trosky Castle's vendors are usually well-stocked, smaller settlements offer alternative sources. Note that the gamekeeper at Zhelejov might occasionally have trading issues, but as a last resort, you could attempt to pickpocket him.
