Destiny 2 Bug Hinders Reputation Progress

Destiny 2's Grandmaster Nightfall relaunch has unearthed another reputation bug impacting Warlock players. While Destiny 2 has enjoyed a positive period with new content like "Into the Light" and "The Final Shape," recent weeks have seen a surge in game bugs. Bungie actively addresses these issues, but new problems emerge with each weekly reset.

Recent bugs have ranged from granting free rewards for AFK Crucible participation to providing unlimited Paracausal Shots with the Hawkmoon exotic hand cannon. Warlocks have faced a particularly frustrating reputation bug in Gambit, hindering their progress compared to Titans and Hunters. This issue, however, appears to extend beyond Gambit.

The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls, along with a Vanguard reputation boost and double rewards. However, Warlocks are again experiencing significantly reduced reputation gains compared to other classes.

Warlock Reputation Bug in Destiny 2

The community has identified this double XP Vanguard reputation issue, noting Warlocks receive less XP from ritual activities. Many players were initially unaware, only noticing the slower leveling process. Surprisingly, this bug appears to have persisted for months without official acknowledgment from Bungie. Awareness increased last week following similar reports concerning Gambit XP discrepancies.

Currently, players can only raise awareness, hoping Bungie addresses the problem. The studio is actively working on other issues, as seen in Update 8.0.0.5, which included Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and the removal of Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids.
