GOG Resurrects Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 on PC

by Simon Mar 04,2025

GOG resurrects the cult classic survival horror games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, bringing them to PC as DRM-free releases. Both titles, originally released on PlayStation, are now available through GOG's Preservation Program, ensuring their original content remains intact.

Capcom's Dino Crisis 3, an Xbox exclusive, remains the last entry in the series, despite fan calls for a remake or new installment. The release of Exoprimal, a dinosaur-themed multiplayer game, and comments from series creator Shinji Mikami seemingly dashed hopes for a Dino Crisis revival.

These PC ports, previously difficult to run on modern systems, are now fully playable thanks to GOG's enhancements. GOG highlights the improved compatibility and features, emphasizing the preservation of the original experience.

GOG's Dino Crisis Enhancements:

GOG's Dino Crisis 2 Enhancements:

  • Full Windows 10 and 11 compatibility.
