Hearthstone Unveils Largest Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft

Get ready, Hearthstone fans! The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft is set to launch on January 21st, bringing iconic factions into the game with a host of exciting quests and challenges. This is not just any Mini-Set; it's the biggest one Hearthstone has ever seen!

Biggest Mini-Set Ever!

Typically, Mini-Sets offer 38 cards, but The Great Dark Beyond will feature an impressive 49 cards. This includes 4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic, 20 Rares, and 24 Commons, making it a massive expansion. Not only is it larger, but it also boasts incredible variety.

Each StarCraft faction introduces 5 multi-class cards, alongside a special neutral card, Grunty, who steals the spotlight. You can open The Great Dark Beyond Hearthstone packs to discover the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set, or you can directly unlock the complete 94-card set. The standard Mini-Set is available for 2500 Gold, with an all-Golden version priced at 12,000 Gold.

Hearthstone Shines a Spotlight on the Factions in the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set

The Zerg faction is all about overwhelming your opponents with a swarm of board presence. They are teamed up with Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock, led by none other than Sarah Kerrigan. If you enjoy creating an army of tokens, the Zerg faction is perfect for you.

Next, the Protoss faction, featuring Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue, is led by High Templar Artanis. This faction is focused on making big plays, with high-cost cards that become more affordable over time, leading to explosive turns that can change the game's momentum.

Lastly, the Terran faction includes Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior, commanded by the fearless Jim Raynor. They introduce Starship synergies, allowing you to deploy multiple Starships during a game. The highlight here is The Battlecruiser, which comes with new art and the Mech minion type. If you possess a Signature Starship piece, you'll unlock the Signature-art version of the Battlecruiser.
