Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some fantastic sets, like last year's interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, the LEGO Nintendo universe feels incomplete without representation from other beloved franchises. While we have a plethora of Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing options, many other iconic Nintendo worlds remain untapped.

As a fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I'm eager to see more. Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next? Let's find out!

With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for the next generation of Nintendo is high. We can likely expect more LEGO Nintendo sets, fueled by the success of the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation. What franchises will be next in line for 2025 and beyond? Personally, I believe Metroid is ripe for LEGO sets. Metroid Prime 4's release would be the perfect timing for some incredible builds. I'd also love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, beyond the existing MEGA sets, although licensing agreements might make this challenging.
