Ubisoft's unannounced game, Project U, has had a turbulent journey. Gameplay leaks emerged in 2022 following closed beta testing, resurfacing two years later, hinting at ongoing development. Recently, a leaked introductory cinematic, shared by gaming content leaker Shaun Weber, further fuels speculation. Weber suggests more leaks are possible if development continues.
Project U is anticipated to be a session-based co-op shooter, inspired by Helldivers 2. The leaked cinematic depicts an alien invasion of Earth, with players as chosen defenders against this extraterrestrial threat.
While the cinematic's authenticity remains unconfirmed, its existence keeps the mystery of Project U alive. Ubisoft has yet to officially announce the game or its release date.
