S8UL to Represent India at WCS Finals After Pokémon Unite Qualifiers

by Madison Apr 10,2025

The world of esports is buzzing with excitement as S8UL has secured their spot to represent India at the Pokémon Unite World Championship Series (WCS). This achievement comes on the heels of a challenging period for the team, particularly after their early exit from the Pokémon Unite Asia Champions League, where they failed to advance to the ACL competition. Now, with renewed vigor, S8UL is set to compete in the WCS Finals in the USA this August.

The journey to the WCS was not without its hurdles. S8UL started the India Qualifiers on a rough note, losing their opening match and being relegated to the lower bracket. This made their path to the top even more arduous. However, they demonstrated resilience and skill, ultimately dominating over formidable opponents such as Team Dynamis, QML, and Revenant XSpark to clinch their qualification.

Championship PerformanceThis success is not entirely new for S8UL, as they were also selected to represent India in the 2024 WCS. Unfortunately, they were unable to participate due to visa issues that prevented their travel to Honolulu. With cross-border travel to the US still presenting challenges, the team remains cautious but hopeful that they will be able to compete without any hitches at the WCS 2025 finals this summer.

As the esports community gears up for the PMGO finals in PUBG Mobile later this week, the spotlight is also firmly on Pokémon Unite.
