In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, players have the opportunity to engage with numerous NPCs, each offering unique quests that enrich the game's narrative and gameplay experience. One such encounter takes place in the Rookie Village, where Skif meets Lyonchyk Sprat. This interaction stands out due to its light-hearted nature and the quest it initiates, which involves helping Lyonchyk deliver a joke to a group of fellow stalkers in hopes of gaining their friendship.
Players immersed in the game's main storyline might overlook this charming side quest. Here's a detailed guide on how to find and successfully complete the Joke quest in the Rookie Village of *Stalker 2*.
Lyonchyk Sprat can be found in the Rookie Village, nestled within the Cordon region of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Upon arriving at the center of the Village, players will hear Lyonchyk calling out to Skif. The conversation begins with Lyonchyk attempting, and failing, to deliver a joke to Skif. This amusing start leads to Lyonchyk asking for help in delivering a joke to a group of stalkers gathered around a bonfire, hoping to secure an invitation to join their circle. Agreeing to assist Lyonchyk will initiate the Joke quest.
Once the quest begins, Lyonchyk instructs Skif to climb up to the attic of a nearby house and wait for his signal. The ladder to the attic is conveniently located beside the bonfire. After climbing up and perching in the attic, players are presented with various joke options. Each option elicits a different response from the audience, but choosing any of them ensures that Lyonchyk successfully delivers the joke, marking the quest as completed.
Following the successful delivery of the joke, players should descend and approach Lyonchyk Sprat, who will be waiting at the same spot where the quest began. Lyonchyk will express his gratitude for Skif's assistance in joining the stalker circle and reward him with 900 coupons. However, if players choose not to interact and allow Lyonchyk to attempt the joke alone, the quest will fail. In this case, Lyonchyk will flee from the bonfire, retreat to a house, and lament his misfortune, blaming Skif for abandoning him.
